An electrocardiogram (ECG) machine is an electronic device that is commonly used to test or check a person’s heart's rhythm and electrical activity. Part of the device is sensors attached to the patient’s skin, which detects the electrical signals of a human heart with each beating. This device consists of electrodes, connecting wires, an amplifier, and a storage and transmission device. The electrodes are of two types: bipolar and unipolar. This device records the heart beat for a stipulated time and after it is complete, a computerized and recorded print out is available for the doctor.
